Stay away from dairy

Get outside

Immune Boosting Elderberry Mānuka Honey Gummies

Elderberry is one of the oldest and most effective remedies enhancing immune function and fighting off pathogens and infections. It has potent antioxidant abilities that shorten then length of illness and it is incredible for immune systems of all ages. We love this delicious one from our friends at Potions n Motions.

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup elderberry syrup

- 1/2 cup pure apple juice

- 2 tablespoons Mānuka honey

- 2 ¼ teaspoons agar agar powder

Instructions

1. Begin making this elderberry gummy recipe in a small saucepan, by combining juice, syrup and agar.

2. Stir well to mix.

3. Turn on the heat and gently heat to a simmer.

4. Add honey and continue to heat for 5-10 minutes.

5. When the mixture takes on a slightly thicker and less grainy appearance, remove from the heat.

6. Using a dropper, measure mixture into gummy molds of choice.

7. Cool slightly on the counter, then transfer to the refrigerator to cool completely.

8. After 30 minutes, un-mold and place gummies in a storage container.

9. Store in the refrigerator.
