Behind the Scenes – Vessel By ACTIVIST

Behind the Scenes – Vessel By ACTIVIST

Designed and produced from his modest boatshed atelier and basement studio, Gidon Bing Ceramics are sold and collected worldwide. This behind-the-scenes photo essay offers an intimate look at the making of the elegant Ceramic Vessel, created by Gidon Bing for ACTIVIST in his Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland, New Zealand) studio. Rooted in a sculptural practice, Gidon’s work draws inspiration from the power and presence of reductive form, exploring the tension between biological asymmetry and the artifact.
